Squirdle, Pokedle and Daily Red are three free daily Pokémon games in the spirit of Wordle. Squirdle and Pokedle ask you to guess a hidden Pokémon from clues; Daily Red gives everyone the same six level 100 Pokémon and asks you to beat Red in one battle.
Guessing vs battling
Squirdle and Pokedle are guessing games: you name Pokémon and use feedback to find the day's answer. Daily Red is a battle game: there is nothing to guess; you pick moves in a six-vs-six battle against Red's team.
All three share the Wordle habit loop: one daily puzzle, the same for every player that day, and a result you can share.
Squirdle
Squirdle is "a Pokémon Wordle-like": you guess a mystery Pokémon, and each guess is compared on generation, two types, height and weight.
- Green means correct, red means wrong, yellow means a type in the wrong position.
- Up and down arrows tell you whether your guess was too low or too high (for example in generation, height or weight).
- You get a limited number of guesses, which the page shows; it varies with the generation range.
- There is a daily mode, plus filters by generation and type.
Pokedle
Pokedle (pokedle.net) is a daily "guess a Pokémon" site with four modes:
- Classic: get clues on every try.
- Card: guess from a blurry card.
- Description: guess from a Pokédex sentence.
- Silhouette: guess from a shadow.
The same team also runs daily guessing games for other franchises, such as League of Legends and One Piece.
Daily Red
Daily Red is a daily Pokémon battle, not a guessing game. Each day everyone gets the same six level 100 Pokémon and gets one official battle against Red's fixed team on Mt. Silver.
- Red's team: Pikachu (lead), Espeon, Snorlax, Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise, all level 100.
- Your team: six level 100 Pokémon that change every day.
- Reset: a new team unlocks at your local midnight.
- Rules: Generation 3 singles, simulated by the open-source Pokémon Showdown battle engine.

Which daily Pokémon game should you pick?
Pick Squirdle if you like deduction from stats such as type, height and weight. Pick Pokedle if you want several short guessing modes, from silhouettes to Pokédex entries. Pick Daily Red if you would rather battle: it tests type matchups and move choice, not Pokédex recall.
They take a few minutes each and reset daily.
